Visually impaired

Service must be booked at least 48 hours before departure.

How to make a booking

If you are travelling alone and require assistance, then you must inform the company of the extent of your impairment and the assistance you require thru our Customer Service Center or your travel agent, no less than 48 hours before departure.

At the airport

We recommend that you arrive at the airport on time:

Recommend arrival: 3 hours before departure time
Latest possible arrival: 90 minutes before departure
Our staff will accompany you right up to the aircraft door.

On board

On arrival at the aircraft, the Mid Africa’s in-flight staff will provide you with assistance and information about

  • The position of your seat in the aircraft (proximity to toilets).
  • Where to find the call bottoms and entertainment system.
  • The location of the oxygen mask and how to use it
  • The description and make up of your seat tray and meal time.
  • Help to get to the toilet. However they cannot provide any assistance inside the toilet.

On arrival

Our staff will meet you at the aircraft on arrival at your transfer airport or final destination and will accompany you through the entire process border control, baggage reclaim and customs.

Passengers with hearing difficulties
